A countdown of the top 10 fighting games for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis - with the exception of Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and most other Arcade ports. All original, baby!...mostly.
The venerable Mega Drive was great at a lot of things...fighting games, generally speaking, wasn't one of them. In fact, quite a lot of the system's fighting games were utterly abysmal! However, there were definitely a few diamonds in the rough that you couldn't get anywhere else - and this list is going to help bring them out! Just to be sure we get absolutely all of them, there's no big arcade ports either - the list could have been filled up with Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat and SNK...but that wouldn't be any fun, would it? Enjoy the list!
